​There are many type of teeth Extractions:
Simple Extraction: as the name implies are simple extraction such as the front teeth without decay or root canals treatment.

Surgical Extraction: these extractions might be a little bit more time consuming because the tooth has decay, root canal treatment, multiple roots and might be already broken. Thus, minor surgical procedure is needed to remove the tooth.

Impacted teeth: impacted teeth are usually wisdom teeth that could be of soft tissue impaction (under gums), partial bony impaction (wisdom tooth is partially covered by jaw bone) and full bony impaction (fully covered by jaw bone).
